In July I went to FCCLA National Conference with one of my students. He is a State Officer. This was my first National Conference. It was amazing!!!L (my student) and another state officer at a Leadership Training workshop. 
L and two other students I spent lots of time with during the 8 days.
The young lady in the red t-shirt won top gold in the nation for her entrepeneurship project.

I had an opportunity to hold an aliigator. It was really cool.
These are two ladies I worked with in Washington. They are wonderful ladies and taught me a great deal about being a great teacher. It was so nice to catch up on what is going on with so many people that I care about and miss.
Colorado students at the Dance . They had a lot of fun. I love spending time with students, they are so amazing. FCCLA is an amazing student organization. It is amazing how much a student grows through their involvement in it. Opportunities like these remind me of why I love doing what I do. It also validates what I do. :)
After the dance, students are having a "tea" (really it was coffee) party in the hallway.
It was a great time! I look forward to this school year starting soon. So many opportunities to help students become the best they can be. :)

Awesome. You are so passionate about what you do Lenna, not many teachers are that way. That's why you make such a difference in their lives!
